Bamboo Charcoal Creative Technology, referred to in this document as Bamboo Charcoal, is an online Web Services company, physically located in South Africa with the broad provision of Web Services internationally.
Sale Agreement
An agreement of sale between Bamboo Charcoal and the customer is only valid once payment has been made and the company receives proof of payment, and the payment has been cleared by the bank.
The service(s) will not be conducted, until the payment has been cleared by the bank, this is to eliminate any wastage or loss of time and fraudulent activities.
Customer Privacy Policy
Bamboo Charcoal will take all the reasonable and necessary steps to protect your personal information as a user and customer.
For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
Bamboo Charcoal respects your privacy.
All of the personal information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned.
Payment Options Accepted
Payment to Bamboo Charcoal can be made via Payfast, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, valid Credit Cards, Bank Transfer, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), Cash Deposits into the Bamboo Charcoal bank account and FNB eWallet payments (for South Africa based clients paying for certain services that cost less than R3000.00)
The details of all the applicable payment methods will be presented at checkout, please pay attention to the appropriate bank account details if you intend on making direct bank transfers, cash deposits or FNB eWallet payments.
Credit Card Security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Bamboo Charcoal via Virtual Card Services, namely Payfast who use the strictest forms of encryption, to ensure that your payment is safe.
Payfast is used by other popular online merchants such as TakeAlot.

Customer Details And Credit Card Details
Customer details will be stored by Bamboo Charcoal for delivery and communication purposes.
Credit Card details will not be stored.
You will have to re-enter your Credit Card information whenever you make a purchase.
Merchant Outlet And Currency
Bamboo Charcoal is physically located in South Africa, but can provision services internationally.
International services and communications will be conducted and delivered under South African Standard Time, so please make sure you are aware of the different time zones.
Bamboo Charcoal will currently prioritize South African Standard Time until further notice.
The primary transaction currency is in South African Rands (R/ZAR), for users based in South Africa and United States Dollar ($/USD) for users based outside of South Africa.
Responsibility
Bamboo Charcoal takes responsibility for transactional aspects including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Disclaimer
It is our mission that all information on this website is as accurate and up to date as possible, and that all products and services promoted cause no harm to our customers or the environment.
With that said, Bamboo Charcoal does have additional terms and conditions when it comes to the pricing and provision of services as it relates to domain registrations & domain parking, hosting, images & logos, websites & sub-domains, upgrading websites, site monetization and the shared responsibility condition:
Domain Registrations & Domain Parking
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a registered domain if you desire one.
If you do not purchase a domain, your website or solution will be a subdomain of bamboocharcoal.co.za for a period of three days (72 straight hours), before it is temporarily deactivated or transferred, and thus inaccessible until you purchase a domain.
If you do not purchase a domain within five hours (120 straight hours) after your subdomain has been temporarily deactivated, the subdomain will be permanently terminated, and you will not be eligible for a refund.
If you are unable to purchase and register your own domain, Bamboo Charcoal will administer and facilitate the process for R350.
We will also renew your domain annually for R350, only at your instruction. If you do not explicitly instruct us to renew your domain, we will not, therefore, if you lose your domain, it will be your responsibility. (You will be alerted a month, a week and a day before the expiration date of your domain in order to give you the opportunity to instruct us to renew your domain.)
If you would like to transfer your domain to us, we will facilitate the migration process for R500.
Hosting
All default hosting (R50pm) is shared hosting, this means that you do not have access to a cPanel, and your website is not scalable, which means that if there are too many users on your site. It will slow down.
If you desire fast Dedicated Hosting or Virtual Private Servers which include WHM & cPanel: starts at R350pm.
If you desire Managed WordPress Hosting, which includes snapshots and automatic backups: starts at R250pm.

Images & Logos
It is your responsibility to ensure that you provide high definition, high quality images and logos for your landing pages, websites, ecommerce platforms, chatbots and mobile applications.
Further more, it is your responsibility to ensure that images and logos are continuously updated to ensure their high definition integrity.
If you are unable to provide your own high definition logos or product images : Click here, and request a quote, and we will source and contract high quality logo designers, graphic designers and product photographers at affordable, competitive prices.
Websites & Sub-Domains
The price or cost of the website is for a single website only, any sub-domains that come with the package are self created and self-managed by the owner (customer or client).
The price or cost of the website is once off, it does not include daily maintenance or observation of your website. It is your responsibility to ensure that your site is up and always live. If you experience any problems, or need assistance with your website, please send an email to bugmaster@bamboocharcoal.co.za and we will assist you timeously.
Alternatively, if you want your website to be explicitly managed, and updated daily with reports, you will have to pay a monthly Website Administration fees:
Static Sites & Landing Pages: R250pm
Blogsites & Websites: R500pm
eCommerce Sites: R1000pm
Other Larger Services & Applications: starts at R2500pm
If you want to convert your sub-domain into a website or a landing page or an e-commerce site, you will have to pay the required price.
Landing Pages are single, static web pages created using HTML, CSS & JavaScript and other static web development languages.
Default Websites & eCommerce Sites are created using a content management system, namely WordPress.
Upgrading a Website
In order to upgrade your Website or eCommerce Site from one level to another, you can just pay the price difference, only if you are a returning client or customer (if you are migrating from a different provider, you will be accountable for migration fees, and the re-development of your website.)
In order to convert your Static Landing Page into a WordPress Theme, you have to either, pay R2500 (per page) to have a WordPress Theme Exclusively Developed and Managed for you. Or you can start from scratch, and choose a relevant Website or eCommerce site, which will be developed and designed using relevant content management systems, using the themes and templates that they provide.
Site Monetization
It is your responsibility to ensure that the contents of your website or solution adhere to all the relevant Terms and Conditions of Google AdSense and the Laws of your Jurisdiction if you wish or desire to monetize your site through Google AdSense.

Website Usage
You can use this website (bamboocharcoal.co.za) to browse and indulge in the content, and make relevant purchases.
You may not use this site (bamboocharcoal.co.za) for fraudulent transactions, because the relevant authorities will be alerted.
You can not copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute any of the images or content available on the site without the approval of the owner of the website, if you cannot reach the owner of the website, you need to credit the owner wherever you republish the material.
